MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It’s the last weekend of July, and there is absolutely no shortage of great things to do as summer gets ready to move into its final stretch. Here are three great suggestions to get you started.

Anoka County Fair
The Minnesota State Fair is still a few weeks away, but you can get your fill of farm animals and fried foods now … just in a slightly smaller package. There are rides, there are attractions, and there are plenty of unhealthy eating options. The Anoka County Fair runs from now through July 27.

Wolf Of Walmart
The master improv artists of the Brave New Workshop have a new show — the wryly titled “The Wolf of Walmart.” They skewer everything related to commerce, even in the form of a rap battle. Tickets start at around $25.

Libertine Minneapolis
Uptown’s Cafeteria may be gone, but something new just opened in its place. Libertine, a meat-lover’s dream, is the work of chef Tim McKee. It’s located in Calhoun Square on Lake and Hennepin.
