2 Charged In Northern MN Burglary, Using Stolen Credit Cards

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two people are accused of burglarizing a northern Minnesota residence and attempting to use stolen credit cards at a retailer in the area, according to charges filed this week in Douglas County Court.

Lisa. J. Schulties, 32, and Jeorge A. Sales, 26, were both charged with burglary in connection with a June 26 incident.

According to the charges, the two were linked to a June 26 burglary at a residence in the Town of Lakeside, which is near Duluth. On July 11, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office posted a photo on Facebook of a person walking into a local retailer with credit cards that were stolen in the June 26 burglary. Both Schulties and Sales, suspected in the case, "liked" the photo on Facebook.

That same person was seen entering a second store with a man who was identified by police. An investigation led to the arrests of Schulties and her boyfriend, Sales, who was spotted walking in the store with stolen credit cards.
