MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s time for the weekend and in these beautiful days of summer, there’s so much to do. Jason Matheson picks his top three.

Minnesota Fringe Festival
The Twin Cities is already known as a jewel in the art scene and this festival is part of that title. There’s truly a show for everybody. The festival runs until Aug. 10 at various locations.

Loring Park Art Fair & Powderhorn Art Fair
Check out the works of dozens and dozens of artists – as well as take advantage of the booming Loring Park neighborhood. Also check out the Powderhorn art fair!

Wakame Sushi & Asian Bistro
Some restaurants don’t get the buzz that they deserve. Wakame is one of those places. They have an amazing happy hour with great prices and a great atmosphere. Their patio overlooks the hustle and bustle of Lake Calhoun neighborhood. So great people watching and great food.
