MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials with Polaris Industries, Inc., said Friday they’re adding 100 jobs as part of a $20 million expansion project in Plymouth.

The Medina-based company, which makes off-road vehicles, ATVs and snowmobiles among other vehicles, is purchasing an existing 120,000 square foot building and will renovate it. The building will house off-road vehicles, military and commercial, as well as parts and sales offices.

Officials said about 400 employees who are currently at other Polaris locations are expected to move to the building. The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development said it will contribute $800,000 to the project from the Minnesota Job Creation Fund.
