ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities said a man’s body was pulled from the Mississippi River Saturday morning near the line between Ramsey and Dakota Counties.
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body in the Missisippi River at about 7:42 a.m. Saturday. The Ramsey County Water Patrol was dispatched to initiate a search.
When officers arrived, they located the body and recovered it from the river, about a mile north of the county line. The body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and to determine the man’s cause of death.
Authorities said it appeared the body had been in the water for a long time.
