State Patrol: 1 Dead In Kandiyohi County Rollover Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One person is dead after a rollover crash in western Minnesota Saturday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities were called to the crash at about 3:35 p.m. on Highway 12 east of Kandiyohi near Willmar. When officers arrived, a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero was heading westbound on Highway 12 when it went off the road into the right ditch and rolled multiple times, coming to a rest on its side.
Authorities said the driver was partially ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
What led up to the crash is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol with assistance from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
