MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Brooklyn Park Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing vulnerable adult.

Police say 51-year-old Ida Tims was last seen Tuesday morning after walking away from her home on the 6300 block of Zane Avenue.

Tims is a black woman who is five feet five inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. She has short braids, and was last seen wearing dark blue skinny jeans, sandals and a light blue tank top.

She has Alzheimer’s disease and shows signs of other mental illness. Tims may recognize her own name if contacted, but she may not know where she’s going.

Anyone with information about Tims’ whereabouts are urged to call 911.
