MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The University of Minnesota has issued a crime alert after someone was the victim of an attempted robbery near the East Bank campus.

The incident happened last Saturday at about 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of 15th Avenue Southeast and 6th Street Southeast.

The victim says he encountered three suspects, one of whom pushed him to the ground and demanded his valuables. The victim was able to run away uninjured without losing any of his belongings.

He was unable to give police descriptions of the suspects.
