Increased DWI Patrols During Labor Day Weekend
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- While millions of us will be hitting the roads this holiday weekend, bear in mind that nearly 400 law enforcement agencies will be stepping up their patrols, looking for drunk drivers.
A DWI offense can mean losing your driver's license for up to a year, thousands of dollars in costs and possible jail time.
Meanwhile, gasoline prices will be at their lowest Labor Day levels since 2010. Regular gas will average $3.41 a gallon -- that's 18 cents less than last year and 42 cents lower than Labor Day weekend in 2012.
According to Gas Buddy, prices at the pump should continue to drop through early November.
