Authorities Investigating Photos Showing Eagan Kids

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating pictures of Minnesota kids posted online without their knowledge.

Officers in Eagan learned about the pictures last month. Someone took them in the Country Hollow neighborhood.

Investigators talked with people who live in the neighborhood. They say they've spoken with all the families affected by the case.

"These girls were fully clothed, and they were not depicted in a pornographic manner," said officer Desiree Schroepfer. "It appears that they did not know their photographs were being taken and they were uploaded to a photo sharing website. The concern was that many of the comments that followed these photos were sexual in nature."

Police say the person who took the pictures is cooperating and has removed them from the site.

Investigators add there was never any physical contact between the person who took the pictures and the girls.
