2 Apple Valley Schools Evacuated After Bomb Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two Apple Valley, Minn. schools were evacuated Friday afternoon after a bomb threat.

Apple Valley Police say the threat was phoned in to Valley Middle School at about 1 p.m.

District 196's communications specialist says both Valley and Southview Elementary School, which are connected, were both evacuated.

Crews searched both schools and found no explosives.

Police are investigating.
