Stearns County Man Shot In Stomach
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Stearns County man was hospitalized after being shot in the stomach early Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at about 2:17 a.m. on the 200 block of 3rd Street in Holdingford, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
When they arrived, deputies found the gunshot victim, who was eventually flown to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
The suspect, Edwin Vail, was arrested at the scene without incident. He is expected to face first-degree assault charges.
The victim's condition has not been released. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting.
