We Day Minnesota Announces Speakers, Performers

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – We Day Minnesota announced Thursday the lineup of inspirational speakers and performers that will be attending this year's event.

We Day Minnesota is one of 14 events that takes place in the U.S., Canada and United Kingdom as part of We Day and We Act.

We Day is a charity that brings together kids and teens with philanthropic spirits and aims to inspire them to continue their efforts.

We Day Minnesota is set to take place on Nov. 12 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

This year will include performances by The Band Perry, Lennon & Maisy Stella and iLuminate.

Some of the speakers include former basketball player Magic Johnson, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning actor Martin Sheen, filmmaker Kweku Mandela and cast members from the T.V. series DeGrassi.
