Northbound I-35W Blocked Near I-94 Due To Semi Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Northbound Interstate 35W has been closed after a semi-truck rolled onto its side Saturday morning.

According to state patrol, the semi-truck rolled onto its side shortly after 9 a.m. on northbound I-35W near Portland Avenue.

It is currently blocking the left two lanes.

Traffic has been shut off from the lanes as the accident is being cleared.

Police said the lanes will likely not open until 2 p.m. at the earliest, although it is still unclear how long the clean-up will take.

There is no information on injuries at this time.
