Second Alert Issued For Missing Brainerd Man
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in Brainerd are putting out another alert in regards to a vulnerable adult who went missing from Brainerd.
Police are asking for the public's help in locating 47-year-old Marc Charles Welzant.
Brainerd police say Welzant was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at a group home he was living in. They say he wandered away from the home, was seen in a convenience store in the area and has not been seen since.
Police said Welzant is 5 foot 2 inches tall and 200 pounds with a heavier lower body and slender upper body. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and dark colored tennis shoes.
