A New CEO For The Super Bowl In Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - From the Mall of America, to the Super Bowl.

Marketing executive Maureen Bausch has been named to lead the effort to bring the big event to the Twin Cities.

She said they'll plan for all kinds of weather conditions.

"You plan for every possible outcome and then hope for sunny and warm," Bausch said.

Bausch said part of her job will be to include as many Minnesotans as possible.

"It is to be very inclusive," she said. "A week-long, maybe longer. For everyone in the state to come and be part of Minnesota's party."

The game is scheduled to be played in February 2018 at the new Vikings stadium.
