Taylor Swift Adds 3rd Show In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- 1989 just got another day longer. Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift announced that she will be extending her 2015 concert stint at the Xcel Energy Center for one more performance.

Swift, 24, was initially booked to perform back-to-back shows at the "X" on Sept. 11 and Sept. 12. On Friday, the Xcel Energy Center announced that there would be another show on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m.

Her 1989 World Tour kicks off in Louisiana next May, and will hit a number of venues throughout North America and Europe before heading to Australia.

Swift is currently the youngest person to ever win the Grammy award for album of the year -- her new album "1989" is named after the year she was born -- and has racked up more digital music sales than any artist in history.

Among Swift's biggest crossover hits are her latest smash "Shake It Off," as well as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "You Belong with Me," and "I Knew You Were Trouble."
