According to the criminal complaint, on July 28 the Anoka Police Department responded to a report of theft from the Anoka High School Boy's Lacrosse Team.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the head coach of the team, as well as president and vice president of the Booster Club, who said unauthorized ATM withdrawals and payments using the team's bank accounts had  occurred.

They told police the unauthorized transactions been occurring since March 2014.

The three also told police they believed the Booster Club treasurer, Weigman, had been making the transactions.

Police said the three believed the transactions were without the Board's knowledge or consent, and didn't have anything to do with the team.

Reports showed several ATM withdrawals that Weigman made, totaling $33,640.67.
