1 Dead In Head-On Stearns County Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 19-year-old woman from Monticello, Minnesota, is dead after a head-on collision in Stearns County.
A Chrysler 300 struck a Ford Econoline van shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday on Highway 23, west of Interstate 94.
Megan M. Lehner of Monticello, a passenger in the Chrysler, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the Chrysler, Ashley Gieske, 27, of Big Lake, and the driver of the van, Joseph Schramel, 43, of Belgrade, Minnesota, were treated for non life-threatening injuries, as was a 12-year-old passenger of the van.
More information is expected to be released Saturday evening.
