Eagan Police Seeking Public's Help In Finding Missing 19-Year-Old

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Eagan police say they need the public's help locating a 19-year-old who fled from his home after a disturbance involving his family. He hasn't been seen since.

On Nov. 28, police officers responded to the home after a report that Elijah David Buchanan was "out of control" and caused significant damage inside the home. Buchanan fled before officers arrived.

A search involving the Minnesota State Patrol helicopter the next two days was unsuccessful.

Police say Buchanan hasn't been in touch with family or friends and he doesn't have access to a vehicle.

He was last seen on foot in the area of Patrick Eagan Park wearing a black coat. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-11 and 154 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police do not believe he is dressed for the cold temperatures and there is a concern for his safety and welfare.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
