Bloomington Police Seek Help IDing Stabbing Suspect

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Bloomington Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect who stabbed a gas station employee following an argument.

The stabbing happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday at the BP station on 7801 Portland Avenue. Police say a 22-year-old employee suffered a stab wound to the chest. He was brought to an area hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Police say the stabbing was a result of an argument, not a robbery.

The victim described the suspect as a man about 30-years-old who drives a gray or blue Chrysler car with an Iowa license plate. The plate number is similar to DHV 089, police say.

If you have any information on the stabbing, call Sgt. Marty Earley at 952-563-8846.
