Minnesota Lynx Announce 2015 Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Lynx announced Thursday its regular season schedule for 2015, which starts with a home game against the Tulsa Shock.
The Lynx will open the regular season on Friday, June 5, at Target Center. Minnesota will play 34 regular season games from June 5 to Sept. 11. The Lynx are coming off a run to the Western Conference Finals and have won two WNBA titles.
The Lynx will face Western Conference rivals Phoenix and Seattle five times each next season. They will also face Los Angeles, San Antonio and Tulsa four times.
The 2015 season will feature three nationally televised games. Those include June 14 at Phoenix, Aug. 4 at Los Angeles and Aug. 30 vs. Phoenix. The Mercury eliminated the Lynx from the 2014 WNBA Playoffs and went onto win the championship.
