Restaurant Destroyed By Fire In St. Louis Co.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A restaurant in northern Minnesota was destroyed after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, around 6:40 a.m. crews responded to a structure fire at the Ash-Ka-Nam Resort in Ash River.

Upon arrival, crews determined the fire started inside the resort's restaurant/bar and grill area.

No one was in the restaurant at the time of the fire.

The restaurant was destroyed by the fire. It is unknown whether other part of the resort were damaged.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
