3 Kids In Home During Lonsdale Drug Bust

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three people are in jail and three children are in protective custody after a drug bust Thursday in Lonsdale.

The Rice County Sheriff's Office says agents from the Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force executed a no-knock search warrant at 11:25 a.m. at a residence -- where drugs, firearms and stolen property were suspected to be.

Officers arrested three adults -- who have not been identified -- for controlled substance possession, property crimes and child endangerment.

No one was injured in the bust, and all three adults are awaiting criminal charges in the Rice County Jail.
