Crime Alert: Attempted Abduction On UMD Campus

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The University of Minnesota Duluth is warning its campus after a man tried to abduct a girl on Friday.

The man--described as around 40 years old with dark, mid-length hair--tried to lure the girl into his rusty black SUV around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Ordean Court and University Drive.

The girl ran away and reported the incident to an adult.

UMD police are investigating the incident.
