More Than 100 934th Airmen Return Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- After four months away deployed overseas, some families got to welcome their loved ones over the weekend.

Airmen from the 934th Airlift Wing showed some Vikings spirit, waving a flag and arriving aboard two giant C-130 airplanes Sunday afternoon.

They had been deployed to Southwest Asia and came home to a lot of smiles and hugs from family members.

More than 100 Airmen returned.

During their deployment they were responsible for transporting people, cargo and supplies, and for maintaining their C-130 aircraft.
