Work On New Lowertown Ballpark Nearing Finish

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Crews say construction on the new Lowertown ballpark is about 85 percent completed.

Crews have worked through the winter to get CHS Field ready for Opening Day this spring.

The City of St. Paul says they've recently completed installing the bleacher section. They're still installing the rest of the seating.

Work on the ballpark should be done in March.

Opening Day is May 21.
