St. Paul Hosts Saintly City Championship Cat Show

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Cat people rejoice! St. Paul is hosting the Saintly City Championships Cat Show Saturday.

Nearly 200 feline friends, and their breeders, will be competing as part of the Cat Fancier's Association.

Attendees can meet with the show cats and watch the judging.

And, visitors can see which pet housecats will be named King and Queen of the show!

"They want to come and be part of the show, and it's fun. And they love their pets.  Of course they think their pet, you know, their cat is the best," show manager Linda Mae Baker said.

Two capes and crowns will be bestowed upon the winners Sunday.

And, next year, you can enter your cat.

The Saintly City Cat Show is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

It's at the St. Paul RiverCentre and is part of the Winter Carnival.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children and seniors.
