MNfusion: The Wedge Table Opens On 'Eat Street'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A new market and café has found a home on Minneapolis' "Eat Street."

The Wedge Table Market and Café opened their second location along Nicollet Avenue South Monday.

The new 15,500 square-foot space boasts a well-stocked grocery store as well as a dine-in area for patrons.

Diners can get fresh, seasonal meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner ranging from deli sandwiches, soups, breads and pastries. The space is also home to an in-house juice and coffee bar.

For those looking to purchase organic and local goodies, this location's grocery store will be stocked with items similar to the Lyndale location but on a smaller scale.

Additionally, The Wedge will be hosting cooking classes and events in a new community room.

"We want this to be a friendly, neighborhood establishment where you can stop in for organic, local ingredients on your way home or meet with friends and grab a bite," CEO of The Wedge, Josh Resnik said in a recent press release.

Resnik said the location will also serve a variety of beer and wine by the glass and signature cocktails crafted specifically for The Wedge.

Following the opening of the market and café, officials plan to remodel the Lyndale location and add a second full-service grocery story.

The Wedge Table is located at 2412 Nicollet Avenue. It is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. For more information, visit The Wedge online.
