Radioshack May Be On Verge Of Closing Majority Of Locations

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Radio Shack appears to be ready to close a majority of its locations.

Bloomberg reports the electronics retailer is considering selling half of its stores to Sprint and closing the rest. This comes amid rumors that Radio Shack plans to announce that it's filing for bankruptcy sometime this month.

Radio Shack officials have not formally announced any closures yet, but some stores have already started putting out store closing, blow out deals signage.

The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal says this could impact up to 38 stores in the Twin Cities area.
