Patrol: Mankato Man Dies In Rollover Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 55-year-old Mankato man died Saturday afternoon after losing control of his pickup truck and causing the vehicle to roll over.

The State Patrol said the crash happened just after 3:20 p.m. on County Road 33 in Blue Earth County.

Officials said Leo Black was driving a 1986 Dodge pickup south on the road when he lost control of the truck and over-corrected, causing the pickup to roll over.

He died at the scene.

A passenger, 48-year-old Melody Wood of St. Peter, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Road conditions at the time of the crash were dry, the patrol said.
