Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Truck On Northbound I-35W
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 47-year-old man has died after being struck on Interstate 35W Monday morning.
Robert Passow, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, died Monday after being hit while standing outside of his semi-truck.
According to the accident report, around 6:05 a.m. a minor crash occurred between a semi-truck and a car on I-35W north near Park Avenue.
Passow, who was driving the semi, was standing outside of it when he was hit by 30-year-old Matthew Jacobson, of Rosemount, who was driving a Chevy Silverado.
Passow was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where he later died.
Jacobson suffered no apparent injuries.
