Police Search For Suspect In Columbia Heights Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Columbia Heights are searching for a suspect in a shooting that occurred Monday night.

According to police, the shooting took place around 8:45 p.m. inside a home in the 4100 block of Washington Street Northeast.

Police said a 33-year-old man was shot and the suspect fled.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be OK.

Police were unable to find the shooter and do not have much of a description. They said the person was wearing dark clothing and had a ski mask on.

Authorities were searching all night, stopping people and asking questions, but were unable to locate the suspect.
