Police Investigating Several Scenarios In Crystal Boy's Disappearance

CRYSTAL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police in Crystal now say they're investigating several possible scenarios in the disappearance of 10-year-old Barway Collins.

He's a fourth grader who was last seen walking away from the parking lot of his apartment complex Wednesday afternoon. Now police want the public's help in identifying two people.

Investigators don't know if they're connected to Barway's disappearance, but they do want to speak with them.

Pierre and Yamah Collins, Barway's parents, say that four days without their son has taken a toll on the family. They are thankful for all the support from law enforcement and the community at large.

On Sunday night, they are encouraged that investigators are looking at every possible scenario in the disappearance of Barway.

Crystal police released a photo of a man and woman. The image was captured on surveillance video from the lobby of the apartment building around the same time Barway went missing.

Police say they are not suspects, but would like to speak with them.

Also on Sunday, members of Minnesota's Liberian community came together to organize a prayer vigil and volunteers to help continue the search for Barway.

Barways parents say it's been hard for them and his siblings to sleep since he went missing.

"He knew that Barway wasn't near him. He wakes up and starts searching for Barway at night. It's very, very hard. My husband cries and prays every night. We don't sleep," Pierre and Yamah Collins said.

Many of the other families who live in the apartment complex say their children are also having a hard time sleeping.

The prayer vigil for Barway will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at the Cedarwood Apartments in Crystal.
