Tuesday Looks To Be A #Top10WxDay

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – After a week of snow and chilly temperatures, spring-like weather is returning to Minnesota.

WCCO-TV meteorologist Mike Augustyniak says that a rainy and windy Sunday will be followed by a warming trend, with Tuesday shaping up to be a Top 10 Weather Day.

The last Top 10 Weather Day of the winter season looks to be sunny, with a high of 60 degrees.

After Tuesday, the Top 10 Weather Day counter will reset for the coming summer season. That also means the standards for a Top 10 Weather Day will be higher.

The rest of the workweek is excepted to be warm, with highs above 50.

On Wednesday, when the high is forecasted to be near 70 degrees, there's a chance of a thunderstorm.

The weekend, however, looks to be cooler, with highs in the low 50s.
