Iconic U Of M Pizza Place Closes Its Doors

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A pizza joint in Dinkytown that opened in 1959 has closed its doors.

Campus Pizza closed on Friday. The owners haven't said why.

On its Facebook page, the owners say their family purchased Campus Pizza 25 years ago and thank everyone for their patronage and loyalty.

They also ask people to continue supporting the remaining small businesses in Stadium Village.
