Gas Prices Fall Across The Nation
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Gasoline is getting cheaper across the country.
The average national price for a gallon of regular gas dropped five cents over the past month to $2.39 a gallon.
Industry analysts say the drop comes despite a rise in crude oil prices.
Here in Minnesota, we're paying an average $2.27 a gallon Monday morning. That's down about 15 cents from the spike we saw last month, and about a dollar and a quarter lower than this time last year.
Meanwhile, the most expensive fuel is in the San Francisco Bay area at $3.13 a gallon.
