Dunkin' Donuts Opening 1st Metro Location By 'End Of The Year'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The good news just keeps on coming for donut and coffee fans in Minnesota.

On Thursday, Dunkin' Donuts announced that 10 locations are in the works for the Twin Cities area, including Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minneapolis and elsewhere in the west metro.

Along with new franchisee, Legacy Concepts, the largest donut and coffee shop plans to open their first restaurant "by the end of the year."

"We are thrilled these new franchisees have joined the Minnesota market, and know these new restaurants they are developing will satisfy a growing consumer demand in the Minneapolis community," Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of global franchising and business development, Dunkin' Brands, said.

The chain has already opened locations in Rochester and nailed down deals in Brainerd and Duluth.
