'Simon Says Give' Celebrates 3rd Birthday With A Fashion Show
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- "Simon Says Give" likes to celebrate birthdays. They host kids who otherwise wouldn't get a chance to party!
You may recognize the organization from the annual High Five for Supplies Drive. Simon Says Give was part of WCCO's Accomplish Minnesota.
Mandi Simon, the 11-year-old founder, celebrates her August birthday by donating the school supplies raised in that drive. Now, the group turns three and is hosting a fashion show.
Jamie Yuccas is hosting and Indulge Boutique from Eagan is donating outfits for 20 models to wear.
If you can't make the fashion show, Indulge Boutique is open just eight days every month in Eagan and they only get in six of each of their pieces.
The fundraiser is Sunday at the Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Tickets are a $100, but you get a swag bag with items that total that amount.
