Mpls. Cop On Home Assignment While Dept. Investigates Teen's Arrest Video

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Minneapolis police officer is on home assignment while the police department investigates a video in which he apparently threatens a suspect.

The cell phone video was shot by 17-year-old Faysal Mohamed. He says he and three friends were pulled over back in March.

"Plain and simple, if you f--- with me, I'm going to break your leg before you even get a chance to run. Be honest. I don't screw around," the officer is heard saying in the video.

When one of the teens asks why they were being handcuffed, the officer replies: "Because I feel like arresting you."

The officer, who is never seen in the video, later tells them they're suspected of stealing a car. He eventually lets them go about an hour later.

The officer has been identified as Rod Webber.
