'Push For Peace' Brings North Minneapolis Community Together
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A movement is underway in north Minneapolis to make a change in the streets. The goal is to focus on kids, clean up the area, and take the community back from violence.
Community activists and youth workers invited hundreds from around the country to join today's "Push for Peace" initiative.
The group grilled out and then kids were paired up with mentors to talk about ways to stop the cycle of violence on the northside.
