Woman Pinned Under SUV At Woodbury Gas Station

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 46-year-old woman was injured after her SUV rolled over her at a Woodbury gas station Monday.

According to the Woodbury Police Department, just before 5 p.m. Monday Monica Rose Kasmrski, of Stillwater, drove to Kwik Trip with her daughter in her SUV to get gas.

Kasmrski began pumping gas into her car when she got in and drove it forward, causing the fuel line to break.

Police said she then got out of the car, but was knocked down as the SUV began rolling backward. The car backed over her chest with the front left tire.

Kasmrski was taken to Regions Hospital. The extent of her injuries is unknown.

Police said that officers smelled an odor of alcohol on her breath and inside the car. A blood test has been ordered. Charges are pending based on test results.

Care of the child was given to the grandparents while Kasmrski awaits charges.
