Woman Arrested In Eau Claire For Speeding, Suspicion Of DUI With Child In Car
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 27-year-old Minot, North Dakota woman was arrested early Saturday morning in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on suspicion of driving under the influence with a 2-year-old in the car.
Cassie Lynn Jackson was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol at about 3:39 a.m. after she was pulled over for speeding on westbound Interstate 94.
Troopers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. They also discovered Jackson had a warrant out for her arrest.
The child was turned over to the other adult passenger in the car.
Jackson was taken to the Dunn County Jail to await the results of a blood draw.
