MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has found that 10-year-old Barway Collins died by homicide.

A report released by the medical examiner on Tuesday said that the cause of his death was by "unspecified means."

Collins vanished from Crystal after school on March 18. He was found dead in the Mississippi River more than three weeks later, on April 11, with his feet and body bound in duct tape.

Collins' father, Pierre, has been indicted by a grand jury on first- and second-degree murder charges in his son's death.

Collins' funeral was held Saturday, May 2. His mother was flown from Liberia to attend the services after being granted a visa to travel.
