Beloved Lake Creature Minne To Call Lake Calhoun Home

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – For the first time, there will be no surprise about where Minne shows up.

Each year since 2009, the lake creature has shown up mysteriously in a different body of water in Minneapolis.

But this year, the Parks Foundation had people vote where it should go.

So no surprise, later Thursday morning, Minne will appear in Lake Calhoun.

Minne is Dakota for water.
