Marine On St. Croix Woman Dies After SUV Hits Tree
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 42-year-old driver is dead after hitting a tree Thursday afternoon in Washington County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the fatal crash happened at about 2:46 p.m. on Highway 95 at Nason Hill Road.
Brenda Strand, from Marine on St. Croix, was killed when her Chevrolet Suburban hit a tree after she veered off of Hwy 95.
Investigators say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
