Timberwolves, Lynx To Host Grand Opening For Training Center

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx will host a grand opening for their new training center and corporate headquarters in Mayo Clinic Square on Wednesday, June 17.

The event will go from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will feature several special guests, including NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, WNBA President Laurel Richie, Timberwolves and Lynx Owner Glen Taylor and Mayo Clinic President & CEO John Noseworthy. Phillip Jaffe, the owner of Mayo Clinic Square, will also be in attendance.

There will be a grand opening ceremony, and the media will take a tour of the training areas for the teams as well as their corporate offices. Mayo Clinic Square is located at 600 Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.
