Lynx's Augustus, Moore Hosting Summer Camps

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx and Timberwolves Basketball Academy announced Wednesday that two clinics will be held for youth basketball players in late June and early July.

The clinics will be held June 30 and July 1 with Lynx stars Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus, respectively. Officials said the camps will be held in Minneapolis and Minnetonka. They will be for youth girls basketball players in grades 2-8.

The camps are intended to teach the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, skill development and leadership. The cost is $75.

Maya Moor's clinic will be held June 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis. The camp featuring Seimone Augustus will be July 1 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Minnetonka High School.

Both are multi-time WNBA All-Stars and each has won two WNBA titles with the Lynx.

The Minnesota Lynx (4-0) is back in action Thursday night, hosting the Seattle Storm at Target Center.
