Tuition Hike Proposed For Minn. State Colleges, Universities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Students at Minnesota's state colleges and universities could be paying more for tuition this fall.

Prices could go up nearly 3.5 percent or about $233 a year at the state's seven state universities. That does not include the University of Minnesota.

Annual tuition would be just over $7,000.

The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities' board of trustees is expected to look at the tuition hike proposal this week.
