State Patrol Investigating Fatal Crash Near Rochester
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 31-year-old Kellogg, Minnesota, man is dead after colliding with a dump truck in southeastern Minnesota near Rochester Thursday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 3:04 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 42 and County Road 9, which is located just east of Rochester and north of Eyota.
The man's Chevrolet was broadsided by a dump truck, which pushed it off the road.
The 61-year-old driver of the truck had no apparent injury.
The State Patrol is investigating, with assistance from the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office.
The Kellogg man's name is expected to be released on Friday.
